Eyelid Surgery...Is it right for me?

Eyelid Surgery, also known as Blepharoplasty, improves the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. It gives a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of your eyes, making you look rested and alert.

Treatable Conditions:

Eyelid surgery can remove excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper and lower eyes. Bags and shadowing under the eyes can also be corrected. Lower eyelid blepharoplasty can remove excess skin and fine wrinkles of the lower eyelids.

It's a marshmallow world in the winter!

So Punxsutawney Phil had his day in the sun!  His shadow scared him away and now we all have 6 more weeks of cold and snow (figers crossed that we can avoid the latter) to look forward to.  But here at Replenish we are thinking ahead to those warm summer days laying in the beach in our bathing suits!  We have some great specials for you to take advantage of that will make you beach-ready in no time!

So, for those of you that don't know, a $125 million winning Powerball ticket was sold on Christmas Eve at Wesley's Liquor store in Fair Hill, MD.  Who knows, maybe it was one of our wonderful patients at Replenish!!

Jeff Wesley has spent much of the past two days answering the same question to people coming into his restaurant, bar and liquor store.  "No, I don't know who the winner is," he says.

If I had a day that I could give you, I'd give to you a day just like today...

While perusing the internet for a recipe to make for the family Thanksgiving celebration (and listening to the Adam Sandler "Thanksgiving Song"), I came across this great video of a local Maryland favorite. 

The Smith Island Cake hails from Smith Island, Maryland, a 400-year-old fishing village located on the shore of the Chesapeake Bay.  It is inhabited by approximately 300 residents and can only be reached by ferry.  In the 1800's, bakers made cakes to be sent with the watermen during the autumn oyster harvest.  These cakes had many thin layers that were lined and topped with chocolate fudge instead of traditional buttercream icing, because fudge kept the cakes fresh longer.  Thus, the Smith Island Cake was born and has been a fan favorite ever since!  In 2008, it was named the State Dessert for the State of Maryland, and in 2009 it was featured in National Geographic's "5 Desserts Worth the Trip" article.

Hope the morning commute was quick, easy and safe even with the rain.  After a lovely weekend it is always hard to drag yourself back into work on a muggy morning like today.  At least we have a short week and a holiday to look forward to!
